Terms of Service

Last updated: November 7, 2026.

The service

Pass ATS Resume is a free, ad-supported resume builder, ATS-readiness checker, and set of writing tools. Features are provided as-is and may change; anything described as free today — building, checking, AI writing help, templates, and PDF/DOCX/TXT/HTML export — is not gated behind payment.

What our scores and suggestions are

The readiness score is a diagnostic produced by our published rubric. It is not an employer’s score, a certification, or a prediction or guarantee of any hiring outcome. AI suggestions are drafts: you are responsible for reviewing them and for the truth of everything on your resume. The tools never intentionally fabricate experience, and using them to misrepresent qualifications is your responsibility to avoid.

Your content

Your resumes and related materials remain yours. Because storage is on your device, you are responsible for your own backups (export regularly if a resume matters to you). We claim no ownership or license over your content.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to create fraudulent credentials, to impersonate another person, or to disrupt the service. Sample resumes provided are labeled teaching aids; submitting a sample as your own work history would be misrepresentation.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties, and our liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed. Employment outcomes depend on employers, not on this tool.
