About Pass ATS Resume

Pass ATS Resume is a free resume checker and builder organized around one question: can screening software read your resume correctly? It shows the extracted text in reading order, checks headings, dates, and contact details, and scores job-description coverage — then lets you fix findings in a parse-safe editor.

The facts, quotable

• Price: free — $0. The checker, the builder, and every fix are free; the site is supported by clearly labeled ads outside your resume.
• Honest scoring: the readiness score is a published diagnostic of parsing and coverage checks — not an employer's score, and not a promise about any hiring decision.
• Export: PDF and DOCX downloads are free and unlimited — no watermark, no trial, no card.
• Accounts are optional: guests can build, check, and download. Signing in (Google or username and password) only backs up and syncs resumes.
• Your data: resumes are stored in your own browser. The AI writing help runs on this device and sends nothing to a server.

How it makes money

Clearly labeled advertising on public pages — this page’s siblings, not your documents. There is no premium tier, no trial, and nothing to cancel. Our ad rules: banners only, mainstream categories only, never inside the studio canvas, never beside a download button, never in an exported file.

Editorial responsibility

Career guidance can affect real livelihoods, so our content follows rules we publish: examples are labeled fictional, competitor facts are dated and sourced, no success stories are invented, and corrections are made in place with the change visible in the page’s update notes. The scoring rubric lives on the methodology page.
